The veterinary technician is the veterinarian’s primary medical support. They begin the examination procedure and continue to assist the doctor throughout the examination, diagnosis and treatment phases. They aid the veterinarians in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of technical work and administrative detail. They have a very significant role in communicating with and education clients about their pets. Her commitment to patient care and client service sets the bar for the expectation of every new technician we bring on board. She even dedicates her time after hours to help technicians enrolled in school complete there hands-on skill assessments. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys expanding her knowledge of veterinary medicine and attends continuing education courses, sewing, puzzles, and reading! Tina has been a veterinary technician for 53 years and with Prescott Animal Hospital for 38 of those! Tina's passion for animal health has yet to fade as she still enjoys coming into work everyday being able to work with like minded, honest individuals. When asked what her favorite part of the job was, Tina stated that it was having the opportunity to work with Dr. Skinner on complex orthopedic surgeries. In her free time Tina enjoys camping, photography and scrapbooking! Devoted Veterinary Technician to Prescott Animal Hospital Since 1981 Bull moose in Algonguin Park, Ontario, Canada. Nancy Gordon Nancy has been a CVT with Prescott Animal Hospital for many years and considers herself a pioneer in the industry. Even though she has worked in the industry for many years she still finds the opportunity to learn something new. Her favorite part of the day is getting to work and taking care of the hospitalized patients and seeing the progress of their recovery. In her spare time she loves spending time with her husband sitting on the deck enjoying the garden. Certified Veterinary Technician Grey Wolf (Canis lupus) Portrait - captive animal Sha’ Mansky, CVT Sha’s family has been in the Prescott area since the early 1900s. Her grandmother graduated from Prescott High School in 1913. So not only is Prescott her true home it is where her heart is. Sha’ is a rockstar during the day and enjoys a quiet sunset at night. In her free time, you can catch her hanging out with her family and her dachshunds. Certified Veterinary Technician lion national park Gayle Skinner, CVT, CCRP Gayle is our certified canine rehabilitation practitioner. She loves being able to provide the opportunity of a smooth and comfortable surgical recovery for our orthopedic patients. She also helps to counsel clients and establish plans for pets that are arthritic, overweight, or are struggling with developing arthritis. Gayle lives by a code of being kind to others and in her spare time enjoys hiking and beach vacations. (but who doesn’t!)
