Technician A Certified Veterinary Technician has graduated from a AVMA accredited program and was required to take a national and state exam. The veterinary technician is the veterinarian’s primary medical support. They begin the examination procedure and continue to assist the doctor throughout the examination, diagnosis and treatment phases. They aid the veterinarians in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of technical work and administrative detail. They have a very significant role in communicating with and education clients about their pets. Tina has been a veterinary technician for 53 years and with Prescott Animal Hospital for 38 of those! Tina's passion for animal health has yet to fade as she still enjoys coming into work everyday being able to work with like minded, honest individuals. When asked what her favorite part of the job was, Tina stated that it was having the opportunity to work with Dr. Skinner on complex orthopedic surgeries. In her free time Tina enjoys camping, photography and scrapbooking!
