The Best There Is
In 2014, we were chosen as AAHA’s Practice of the Year. Fewer than 15% of practices nationwide earn AAHA accreditation. Every year, one is chosen as the practice that best represents the highest standards in veterinary medicine. We are incredibly proud of this award. To us, though, this was only the beginning. We use this as a new standard to measure ourselves against, to refine, grow, and improve. The patient care here is phenomenal. From heated floors, to oxygen therapy, to an ICU ward and everything between… this is the kind of care you would hope to receive from a world-class human hospital. Because we believe your pet deserves truly world-class care. And here, you will get no less.
We believe love can change lives. Prescott Animal Hospital exists to protect it. Since 1947, we have earned the trust of this community. It means so much to us to see generations of clients walk through our doors. The ability to care for people and pets as individuals is a passion of our team. Moreover, the team at your back is truly exceptional. Every person here is an incredibly good-hearted animal lover. The professional talent here is second to none and impressively diverse. We have worked hard to create the future of veterinary care. Give us a call, and see how bright it can be.
What your neighbors say…
After Dr. Skinner saved my moms tortoise on his day off we decided to take all our animals there and we’ve never been happier. They cured a chronic ear infection one of my dogs had seen a my old vet for more times than I could count and they did it in one visit! They saved my other dogs life when he needed emergency surgery and they have done amazing things with my moms and grandmas dogs. I send everyone to them and I’ve never had a friend disappointed.
Dr.Peters is hands down the best veterinarian I have ever had for my dog! I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my life with dogs for over 25 years. Dr.Peters is kind, smart, caring, and such a warm and generous person. I would not trust my very special boxer Truman to anyone but Dr. Peters.
Moved here from SoCal 6 months ago, having no idea what vet to take my dogs to, I posted the question on a Prescott FB site. I received recommendations from more than 50 people, and hands down, Dr. Killian at PAH was the vet to go to. Dr. Killian takes a very personal approach with each pet, really getting to know both your pet and you; she treats my dogs as her own, and most importantly, gives me options for treatments vs. forcing me to accept just one thing. I highly recommend Dr. Killian and PAH. Both the front desk staff and the vet techs are great!
You can tell everyone at P.A.H. has a genuine love for animals and really care! Everytime my little Winston (10 wk old long haired mini dachshund) has to go in to see the vet he is showered with love and affection from all the staff. Dr. Dow still got lots of kisses and cuddles from Winston even after he gave him his puppy shots. They are just a wonderful team of people!
